    DVD freeware

    What is the best and where do I get it? DVD burning?

    i believe the new nero can burn dvd. dvdshrink is the compression software

    yup you'll need nero and dvdshrink. dvdshrink is freeware but you'll need a copy of nero. try the bittorrents if you don't have a copy already.

    I wouldn't mind getting some decent DVD burn software. I have had my DVD burner for a while and still haven't even used it once.

    At a bookstore the other day, I saw a book entitled "Sex for Dummies." Why would someone want to teach dumb people how to reproduce? Aren't there enough of them now?

    Nero is great. DVD shrink is an awesome application to compress dvd's that are dual layered in order to fit them on a 4.7gb single layered dvdr. dvd shrink also decrypts.

    If for some reason dvd shrink can not decrypt a file, then dvd decryptor will work.

    To make dvd's from other types of files I prefer the comination of:

    TMPG Encode
    TMPG DVD Author

    yea I also us dvd shrink and nero to burn dvds. I takes a little longer than DVD X-Copy but it always burn good dvds and they will play in anything
