XBox Dashboard question...

I have EvolutionX, (not sure what version, i can check if needed) and for some reason it won't play DVD's... do I need to upgrade, if so, how do I go about doing that? I hope its as easy as burning something to a CD and popping it in but I have a feeling it won't be.

i use dvdx to play dvds on the xbox here is a link to it.

check out http://xbox-scene.com/ for all you xbox mods -- if you are new to modding your xbox i suggest you get slayers install and burn it disc and install that. it has all the basic programs you will want/need however some of the software that comes with it will be out dated but it should work for you until you figure out how to update software on it via ftp and or install disc.
