Dvd Encoding Software ???

first id otn know if anyone noticed there are some dvds that dvd shrink can only compress as much , but they r still big to not fit on a regular dvd+/-r
or is there a way to mess aorund with the settings to even compress more in that software , second i dload a lot of divx files and avi.s i need an easy to use software even if i have to buy it to encode seperate files into full fledged home made dvds with chapters and menus ............... thx ppl

Go here: afterdawn.XXX That place rocks!!! I am thinking of a program that may help but I can't remember right now...just got a new comp...so I am busy breaking it in.
