Could be a screen capture trojan...

Make sure you run a deep scan with the latest virus checker and trojan checker just in case

thats a weird problem there. if it isnt a virus maybe youre short on ram or your processor is overloaded.

clear your cache - open up a web page --> tools --> internet options --> delete cookies and delete files. mind you this will erase any passwords that u have saved...just a heads up. also - download microsoft active spyware - its free and can be picked up from their site. cleans up the pc nicely. usually thats from a processor overload like tim mcgraw said however

    Software or hardware.... hmmmm

If it was memory, you'de have the blue of death, that is to say a Memory Dump.
But if its freezing and you have to restart, it's most likely a heat issue.

Your machine is just getting too hot.
I had this issue caused by my video card. The gpu was getting hot and would freez.

So it's one or the other: Vid.card or CPU.
Did you build your machine yourself? Try to get more fans for airflow, and see if that fixes it. That would be the first solution to try since fans are like 5 dollars.

And if you get an anti-viurs, i'de suggest Kaspersky. Much better.

When I'm on the web it seems, not sure, if anything could be a screencapture virus.
