    Internet Connection Problem....

OK, my buddy has his computer set up through a cable connection, but there are two computers in the house split with a router. The router is on the other computer in the house, and his is routed.

The other computer gets internet connection fine.

But my buddies computer doesnt. If you check the connection status, it says it has a connection... but nothing will connect to the internet. It says that a connection cant be found.

    ANy clues?

Were all computers able to connect to the Inet before?

The Internet Service Provider assigns one IP address per line. So if he is using router to connect more than one PC to the Inet then he has to configure the router and assign the real IP address to the router and then assign virtual IP addresses to every PC and add these addresses to the address table in the router.
