Anyone Feel They Look Like Shit In Different Lighting?

Somedays I'll be looking in the mirror to check out my progress and it'll look great, but then i'll go into a really white white light or sunlight and i see so much less definition. anyone else get like this?

yea its not the lighting necessarily.... mirrors just differ.... I HATE BAD MIRRORS... specially bad mirrors in bars/clubs

haha I know what yall mean about the mirrors. I found that if I have a light directly above me I look better in the mirror. I'll kinna be sittin there like takin small steps to get under the light and ppl will be like wtf?

yeah i have the same problem...sometimes i'll look in the mirror and actually be able to see my abs and then the next mirror i look in i don't have anything resembling abs....it's frigging weird, i want to look good in all like damnit

yeah it really sucks how from a distance i can completly shape out my shoulders and biceps and tri's but as i get closer and closer to the mirror, it just looks like a big arm haha

I like the mirrors in upscale dressing rooms where you can see your back. I spend a good extra 5 minutes working on my back poses while in them jsut because I never get a chance to see my back other than in pics. haha im such a dork.

I think you'd have to be cutler's or coleman's size to look good in any scenerio!

smaller guys look like shit in any light and in any mirror.
us average guys look alright only in some light and some mirrors.
bigger guys look alright most of the time.

yeah i look good a lot of times in false lighting. But in sunlight it usually doesnt look as good.

so honestly. which mirror is the true reflection. the good mirror or hte bad mirror. See here at school, the only mirror i have is the one on my door and in the bathroom. and its a really "REALLY" bad mirror. and then i get home, and look in the bathroiom mirror, and im lkike holy shit, i look ****en awesome. and then i stay in the batchroom for like 45 minutes flexing. true story

the mirrors in public places are made to make you look bad because that will cause you to spend more money on appearance improving products...

I think the good ones are the true representation, because when I see myself in pictures or in a video, i look more like the way i look in the "good mirrors". The height and width of the mirror can make your reflection appear thinner or wider than you actually are as well, but dont worry it's just an optical illusion.

I think it also depends on how the mirror is installed.

Once I installed a mirror which was framed in wood

I screwed it in the wall in all 4 corners pretty tightly, i think this made the mirror bulge out..and of course it was a good mirror.

I find the best is your reflection in a tinted car window, makes me looked ripped. When ever I walk down the street with no shirt on I always find myself looking at every car i pass
