    Tons of "return mailer" emails

Over the past month, I have been getting atleast 5 emails a day with the same things. Return address email letters. I havent even sent any emails out.
    Address unknown
Mail system error. Mail administrator failure notice, etc. All various things with links to email addresses that I have never seen. I havent run anti virus over the attatchments and havent opened any of them. I just delete them.

Whats going on with that. Its irritating and I wanna know how to block it with microsoft outlook.
It might be a lure to open a virus but even so, just getting them in my email bugs the **** out of me.

Sounds like you might have the W32MyDoom virus. Here is a link to some info on it:

I'm having the same problem. All along I figured McAfee was doing a good job at protecting my computer but now I wouldn't be surprised if they were the ones sending the viruses. Gotta make money some way I guess

Yeah. I checked for viruses on all common levels. trojans, emails, etc. The only last thing I can think of is (and it happened before) my internet provider is screwing up my email account since they merged with comcast. Im gonna get a new email address so Im not that concerned anymore.

Friends computer could have a virus

there are tons of viruses that email your entire address book and also forges the return address as another person in the address book which makes it a less obvious on who is sending emails/viruses.. So you might not actually have a virus.. could be someone you know that has you in their address book.

You could be sending emails to invalid email addresses.
