How bad is this?
I've mentioned a couple of times that I commute 2+ hours each way to work. Sometimes, in my rush to get out the door, I forget about my first meal of the day. Sometimes I just wait until I get to the office and whip up a shake. Other times, I'm too **** hungry. How bad would it be to buy a sausage mcmuffin or two and throw away the muffin part? I'd just eat the sausage and egg. I understand this is not the best thing to do, but is it hurting my cutting plan in any way?

Why cant you make the protein shake before you leave for work? Just go to bed 10 minutes earlier and get up 10 minutes earlier and make the shake and drink it at home or on the commute.

I do, 90% of the time. Or I'll hard boil some eggs the night before (see my other thread about chucking yolks at a-hole drivers). But on occasion, I rush out the door and forget to bring my food with me.

Essentially it's fat/protein bruh, I've done it many times in a pinch, far better than falling by the wayside and not eating, or getting to the office and eating bagels/pasteries/etc.
Probably a bit too much fat for the protein content, but then again, you are choosing the lesser of two evils. It's always better to ingest too much fat/pro in one meal than it is carbs, or so has been my experience.
So you're good to go on these days for the most part, yes.
