I'm trying to work out a diet for a buddy. He's 250lbs, 6'0. He's been working out for a while now, just needs the right diet..
Here's the plan:
Weights 4x a week
AM Cardio (walking 3 miles on empty stomach (15min/mile) 45min total
One "cheat day" a week (two cheat meals done earlier in the day)
The Diet:

8 egg whites
1 cup of quaker oats
NEEDS TO BE PRO/FAT IF YOUR DOING CARDIO FIRST THING
Meal 2:
2 95% Lean burger patties cooked on a foreman grill
6 CLA oil caps (1 gram fat per each of these caps)
MIGHT NEED MORE FATS HERE
Meal 3:
Problab protein shake(has 6 carbs, is this gonna be a problem?)
10 CLA oil caps (1 gram fat per each of these caps)
NEED MORE FATS HERE
Workout
Meal 5: (Post workout shake)
Prolab protein shake (30 grams protein)
Malto/dex mix (80 grams carbs)
NEED 60G CARBS NOT 80
Meal 6:
2 Lemon chicken breasts (60 grams protein)
1 bag of brown rice (44 grams carbs)
LOOKS GOOD
Meal 7:
2 Lemon chicken breasts (60 grams protein)
10 CLA oil caps (1 gram fat per each cap)
NEED MORE FATS
Meal 8:
Prolab protein shake(has 6 carbs, is this gonna be a problem?)
10 CLA oil caps (1 gram fat per each cap)
NEED MORE FATS. AND NEEDS TO BE SLOW DIGESTING PRO/FAT MEAL
It's about ~2500-2600 calories..
For the days he doesn't workout, it'll be every meal minus the PWO shake and minus the rice with Meal 6 and it'll be replaced with CLA oil caps...
