    Fat on Cardio only days???

typically on a weight and cardio day ill eat between 60-70 g of fat but on cardio only days i eat about 122g of fat because of the loss of kcals comming from carbs in my pwo and ppwo, does this sound ok or should i increase protein instead of the fat. I currently eat about 250-300g of protein.

If you eat 6 meals per day, that's about 20 grams per meal.

That's about right for the protein intake.........Just have to make sure the two are where they should be at for you to still progress.

There really is no "1" ratio bro. Keep an eye on your lean mass to fat ratio. Usually when you are losing fat and not muscle, all is well. When the opposite holds true, or you aren't losing at all, lower the protein a bit, and up your fats. Sounds weird I know, but it works.

thanks because your advice comes at a good time. My first 3 weeks of cutting were full of fat burning but now it seems like my body is getting rid of more muscle then fat. I was really trying to solve this prodblem and i think you just did it for me. Ill switch it up and add more fat and less protein. Ill see how it goes. thanks again

bro, why cant he just up the fat and maintain the protein? i always thought the more protein the better? in my case i aim for 250++ protein a day, meaning anything over 250 is a bonus. am i making sense?

Because due to his previous progress, now lack there-of, it's my guess his body is using some of the protein he ingests for fuel, and that is not what we want. So, upping fats and lowering protein a bit (like 5-8 grams per meal) will encourage the body to use the fats for energy, and leave the protein to do what we wish for it to do. Remember, too much protein alone (w/not enough of another macro) leads to the protein being turned into glucose. He won't lose fat this way, and he'll break down lean muscle tissue.

give it a try for a couple weeks and then reevaluate how it went.
