gain muscle while cutting?
This may be a dumb question but I was wondering if a guy my size would be able to gain muscle while cutting on this diet?
I'm 5'11, 160pds. Not sure of my bf% or how to check it but its just my chest, stomache and lower back where I have any and its not too much at that. I have a 4 pack right now so it cant be too high.
6:30am - cardio (hr 150-165)
8:00am – 1 ½ scoop protein, 1 teaspn flax seed oil
10:00am - 1 can of tuna, 1 handfull cashews
12:00pm - 1 chicken breast, 1 cup veggies, 1 tble spoon flax
3:00pm - 1 can of tuna, 1 handfull cashews
6:00pm - 2 chicken breasts, 1 teaspn flax seed oil
7:00pm - Heavy lifting mon-fri
PWO - 15-20min after workout - 2 scoops protein, 1 cup veggies, 1 cup rice
10:00pm - 2 scoops protein, 1 teaspn flax seed oil
I figured it out to be around 240-260 grams of protein. If I did up the protein around 300 would it be just as effective (for me) as a bulking diet would do for muscle?
