    How important is a multi-vitamin?

I've used them on and off over the years but never really do it on a constant basis, is it really important that I start? Most of them are pretty pricey, whats a good brand to go with (that can be found in canada).

I think the other bros were saying www.massnutrition.com is a good site. Secondly, they are important for providing your body with essential minerals needed when you put your body through any kind of stress.

Do you think I'm hindering my potential gains by not taking one on a regular basis though is what I'm really wondering.

GNC offers good M vits. Their ultra mega is good cuz it gives you high doses of B6(100mg per). Probably no need to supliment B6 as long as your taking them. Centrum does not cut it as a MV when you are on gear unless your taking other krap with it! Spend the extra $ for good MV. They come in larger quantity and dont end up costing any more than grocery store stuff when you do the math.

I use the GNC Mega Men and personally is the best one I've found. The Ultra Mega Green is awesome as well, its got everything from digestive enzymes to efa's.

I'm personally not into the mega vitamin thing. Too much Vitamin A or D can cause serious sides, Vitamin A can cause Brain damage if taken in large quantities for long periods. Just a normal Vitamin with Chromium and Selanium when cycling has done fine with me. Just my .02 cents.

Dont worry about vitamin a toxicity by getting Beta Carotine instead, the body will naturally convert only to the extent it needs.

Thanks Scott, I didn't realize that bro. I got told that by an old time doc a long time ago and it just stuck with me. It was probably before Beta Carotine became popular.

I take my multivitamin daily. Make sure though to not rely on the multivitamin for your daily intakes and get your nutrients from real foods. The multivitamin should just supplement your diet.
