    Need help with bulking diet

    I was planning on just using the information in the bulking diet sticky but since it was deleted i need help. How does this diet look for gaining mass. Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Cardio for 40 minutes

    Meal 1 (PWO of cardio):
    Protein shake(2 tbsp flax oil)/ 1 cup of oatmeal

    Meal 2:
    8 Egg whites / 1 tablespoon flax oil

    Meal 3:
    Turkey sandwhich / 1 tablespoons flax oil

    Workout

    Meal 4:
    PWO Nutrition (2:1 ratio of carbs/pro)(80 g's of dextrose : 40 g's of protein)

    Meal 5:
    1 cup of Oatmeal / turkey,chicken or steak

    Meal 6:
    Protein shake/2 tablespoons flax oil

    Meal 7:
    grilled chicken salad with light dressing

    looks real solid bro. . only thing i might change if you want to bulk as clean as possible is too not have any bread on that turkey sandwich in meal 3 and also try something besides oatmeal in PPWO like rice or potatoes and amke sure there is enough fat in the "light" dressing"

    Thanks, i was thinking about the bread and haven't decided on that topic yet, will use brown rice rather than oatmeal for ppwo, and do you think it would be better to just use regular salad dressing rather than light dressing?

    well right b4 bed you are gonna want some fats to slow down the digestion of the protein, so i would say yes, def grab some dressing with fat or another fat source like almonds or something

    Thanks alot. I've been thinking of adding a micellar casein protein shake as the 8th meal.

    no prob bro. .thats what i am doing when i bulk, have my 6 or 7 meals or w/e and then right b4 bed toss in some whey with natty Peanut butter or somethin

    Do you think it would be alright to eat a chicken breast salad instead of a turkey sandwhich?

    yes. make sure you have some good fats with the chicken..

    i am not sure about the fat count on it, but i am pretty sure it is ok. . .i would just watch how much you put on and how much saturated fat is in it

    WTF, i cant see the comment I just posted. Oh well, if noone else can see it, it was concerning your first meal. Looks like u have protein shake, flax, and oats all in the same meal. I would either pick the shake and flax or shake and oats. Depending on how your body responds to carbs and ur goals for clean bulking, you probably would want the protein shake with the oats.

    on snap goo d catch bro. . .yeah def pick pro/fat or pro/carb meal hear. . .you are bulking so i recomend pro/carb but your not me so yeah

    Just curious - why is oatmeal not a good choice for PPWO carbs? I use oats almost exclusively for this meal simply out of convenience.

    Sorry i actually forgot about that when i posted it, i was trying to show either flax or oatmeal with the shake, but i guess i didn't do it well. Thanks for the help guys.

    its a good choice bro....i was just recomending something diff for variety since he already had oatmeal in meal one. . .but its all good!!

    I would cut down the cardio while bulking, 20-30 mins low intensity 2-3 times a week.

    No need to cut back time. Stick with 45-60 min @ 65-75% max HR. You want as clean a bulk as possible while not hindering gains.
