feeling low **** i hate my genetics.....

ive been cutting for almost 1 month now and i will admit i did drop alot of bf at the begining but i have come to finally realize it does take alot of time effort, and mental strength to reach ones goals. The dedication isnt even enough of a factor anymore it takes much more. I find it really really frustrating when i see pple at the gym who are bigger stronger and leaner then me and by the looks of things they dont know what the fu!@ there doing and when you ask them what do you eat there diet sounds like complete shi# but they still manage to be bigger and stronger and leaner then me. Half the pple at my gym dont know what the Fuc# there doing but they still get results. I have a friend of mine who eats like shi$ works out like a dummy takes drugs on the weekends(wont get into which kinds) and doesnt even know the concept of pwo or ppwo but yet hes stronger bigger and leaner then me and we both started working out at the same time. I sometimes find it hard to swallow that i put in all this time effort and dedication to my training and diet and i still cant reach the physiques of the genetically gifted. sorry to bore you guys but im sure there have been days were you felt low about all the effort you put in and you feel your getting short changed. Anyways thats my flame for the day thanks for reading I just needed to get the off my chest.

I know how your feeling. There will always be someone bigger and stronger and that just motivates you more to become bigger and stronger than them. I think you should give yourself a pat on the back and realize that your in the minority of fit people as 80% of America is obese or morbidly obese. Just keep trucking and you'll keep growing. Remember, the hardwork you put will show in the results you get out.

Yea i eat right and follow right diet and my cousin has no suppliments, works out easy, and eats fast food 24/7 and he is lean with 18 inch arms. i want to kick myslef sometimes.
Thats why i firmly believe no matter what you do your body can only get so good. i can work out 10x better than ronnie coleman but i wont ever win an amateur show these guys have the genetics.

Don't get down on yourself, with a solid nutrional plan a good work ethic you can acheive your goals.

I have a good friend who has great genetics, he is about 220 and ripped year round, but his diet sux. He has been stuck at 220 for over a year now, can't gain a pound now matter how much he ups the dosage. It is obvious to me that if he would eat he could start making progress again but he isn't willing to put any effort into his diet. My point is that great genetics will only take those guys so far, but with solid nutrition and hard work you will eventually pass them.

I HEAR YA BRO, you have no idea what iam going thru as well. all my life i was a twig, yes a twig. been working out for years never gotten real big, weights stayed the same no matter what magic supplemens ive taken. my cousin even mentioned that he was working super hard to get big but it was futile because our family had bad genetics. i refused to beleive its but no results were coming out of my extreme hard work.

i used to weigh 140 been working out for years managed to get to 150. ever since i joined ar ive learned that anything is possible. diet and nutrition was the key. that coupled with our positive mental attitudes which you and me already have is a sure recipe for physical advancement. since february i have gained almost 25 lbs of muscle. thats 25 solid lbs in muscle i couldnt gain in all those years of working out. and am still to not at my full potential, havent dabbled in gear...just yet. my point is that ive erased all doubts that genetics will help us and play a big role but we can also do something about it.

People who use genetics as an excuse for not attaining their goals are lazy, misinformed and lack the solid dedication to see their dreams through to the end. good luck man, your headed there!

I hear ya man. I come from a family of anorexic looking brother and sisters, but to make matters worse, I was born premature and with pneumonia in both lungs, weighed only 3.2 pounds, and spent one year in an incubator. Also, my mom had rh negative blood, so I had to have a blood transfusion at 18 hrs old. All this bs has left me with some kinda screwed up thing where nothing works right on the right side of my body, although nobody really knows this. At one point, my arms, calves, etc on my right side were 1.5 - 2 inches smaller than left side.

Then, when I was 5, I came down with spinal meningitis and spent 4 months in the hospital. When I came out, I was the fattest little bastard you've ever laid eyes on. My bf continued to grow until about 5th grade, when I finally got tired of the **** I was taking for being a fatazz, so the summer between 5th and 6th grade I ate one small meal per day, lived at the basketball court, and was so skinny by the time school started back that my friends literally did not recognize me. (BTW, I puberted during that time and went from 5'-6" to 6' tall, and haven't grown a @#4$*&# inch since.) At this point I was probably 155 pounds.

My point in all this is that I've got a skinny bastards genetics (very thin, small muscle bellies, except for my quads, hams and glutes), with the propensity to be a fatass.

But you know what? F---it! I can outwork almost any mf I know, and I can outwit the rest! Remember, you beat out 90% of the population just by showing up regularly and on-time. This applies to the gym, work, whatever. Out of the remaining 10%, you can out work 7% of them. The remaining 3% is a dogfight, and thats what life is all about.

    Take no f---ing prisoners Beernutz!

Pretty sharp there spoon! While I was sitting @ the computor registering for AR, I was helping my son with his homework. I was also trying to come up with a user name and finally said what the hell, we are studing Eli Whitney so I'll just do a takeoff on that. I've regretted it many times now as I think it's about as stupid as you can get!

If you know the year it was invented, your awful close to my password!

I guess I better change it now!

I hear you bro. My old lifting buddy has all the genetics in the world. Without any real diet plan(except counting kcal and protein) he has dropped over 60 pounds and gained strenght, not to mention the only juice hes been on is like 10mg d-bol/day sometimes bumping it to 30mg/day. Nows hes one ripped mofo and he can even take 2 cheat days some weeks and still lose fat.
