    what went wrong?

been dieting for quite sometime...and i stopped my ECA 2 weeks ago..metabolism was phuck up..put on some water and fat ...and was pretty down..and friends are telling me to stop doing cardio cos they think i'm about "there" and really lean..but little did they know that i've put on a little..esp on the lower abs..so..i stopped doing cardio for a week..but quickly realised i need to hit that metabolic system to get it going again despite not having the ECA..so i started cardio..with just coffee before and with empty stomach in the am as usual. hard to get that heart rate to at least 60%...but..i'm back to regular thermo ..without the Ephedrine now..working pretty well..right now ..diet is at 91g fats,300g prot,144g carbs on workout days...and 155g fats,300g prot on cardio days..i'm weighing at approx 148 pounds...i just measured myself today..arms are down 1 inch...quads down 2 inches..waist maintained for about 2-3 weeks..calfs down 0.5 inch...something is definitely wrong somewhere..my legs have shrunk alot..within days..i'm thinkin it might be the cardio...i'm walkin at 60-75% max hrt rate on incline...3days..what do u guys think? 5 weeks out..just wana get the last bit of fat which i'm still holding on the lower abs to go....so i can figure out how to put about my final week prep and try it out 2 weeks before showtime..should i drop my carbs and instead???

.put on some water and fat ...and was pretty down..and friends are telling me to stop doing cardio cos they think i'm about "there" and really lean..but little did they know that i've put on a little..esp on the lower abs. SO GET ON YOUR HORSE AND GET BUSY.

.so..i stopped doing cardio for a week..but quickly realised i need to hit that metabolic system to get it going again despite not having the ECA. D*MN RIGHT....GOING FROM AN ECA WITH CARDIO, TO NO ECA AND NO CARDIO IS GOING TO YIELD SOME CRAPPY IMAGERY IN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO!

.so i started cardio..with just coffee before and with empty stomach in the am as usual. hard to get that heart rate to at least 60%...but..i'm back to regular thermo ..without the Ephedrine now..working pretty well..right now ..diet is at 91g fats,300g prot,144g carbs on workout days...and 155g fats,300g prot on cardio days..i'm weighing at approx 148 pounds...i just measured myself today..arms are down 1 inch...quads down 2 inches..waist maintained for about 2-3 weeks..calfs down 0.5 inch...something is definitely wrong somewhere..my legs have shrunk alot..within days..i'm thinkin it might be the cardio...i'm walkin at 60-75% max hrt rate on incline...3days..what do u guys think? YOU NEED TO ADJUST YOUR DIET AND TRAINING. EXPERIMENT W/CALORIC AMOUNTS. I'D TRY TO ADD SOME LEAN MASS MYSELF FIRST, IF YOU ARE BELOW 150 LBS......REALLY, LEAN MASS BURNS FAT, SO ADD IT NOW, LOTS OF IT, THEN CUT LATER......YOU'RE GONNA KILL YOURSELF THIS WAY TO GET DOWN TO BEING REALLY RIPPED, BUT REALLY SMALL.

5 weeks out..just wana get the last bit of fat which i'm still holding on the lower abs to go....so i can figure out how to put about my final week prep and try it out 2 weeks before showtime..should i drop my carbs and instead???

I'D HAVE TO SEE PICS TO EVALUATE WHAT YOU ARE DISCLOSING HERE.
AS WELL, AFTER A CARB UP DAY OR TWO YOU WILL FILL OUT, SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT BEING FLAT/SMALL. DO YOUR CARDIO, GET RIPPED, DROP WATER, CARB UP, DO WELL AT THE SHOW, THEN ADD SOME D*MN MEAT!

    GOOD LUCK BRUTHA!

Fo Shizo. You didn't say if you were carbing up or not? Sometimes a day or two of carbing up is all your metabolism needs to kick back into gear.

today is my 2nd day of cardio for this week..i've changed it up a little..i was on the recumbent bike for 20min and threadmill(brisk walk) another 20 min..it was tough to get to merely 60% of max heart rate on the bike..i needed to cycle fast or increase the intensity in order to bring that **** heart rate up..geez..i tried increasing the intensity, but quickly felt a pump in my quads..i know i shouldn't be stimulating the quads that much..so i dropped it..and cycle faster instead..what am i suppose to do? i need cardio to get that last bit of fat off me..but i also need to watch out for my legs..in order not to lose too much LBM..guys..i'm at the cross roads now..i'm actually not far away in terms on conditioning from the pics in my avatar..i was thinking of dropping my carbs a little bit more..but figured that its not a good time this week..as i just merely introduced cardio and my thermogenics..i figured i might lose more LBM if i drop it..what do u guys think i should do? I'm skeptical whether if i'm able to drop that last once of fat by just manipulating my carbs and macros and drop all cardio?? and also increasing my dosage of thermo..

Hi Eggplant. I like your new icon.

I wanted to raise an peripheral issue about something that you mentioned. I don't know how long you had been doing the ECA, but I personally find that over time it loses its effectiveness. When I do it, I will often do it 6 weeks on and 4 weeks off. When you go back on, you get the kick back to to it that you initally had. I have also, in the past had excelent success with cycling ECA and clen . The idea is two weeks of one then two weeks of the other, three times. for each for a total of 12 weeks.

And as for dropping your carbs, I assume you already know my feeling on that one - I think its a great idea. But I strongly suspect you will get differing opinions on that one.

hey one more thing i'm not very sure about...whenever i drop my carbs, should i decrease my workout volume too? i'm now doing 4 exercises for 3 sets each at 8-12 rep range for large bodyparts and 3 exercises for 3 sets each at 8-12 rep ranges for small bodyparts...

You know the look you are going for. From the avatar, it looks like you have a lot of muscle, so how much can you poosibly lose by cutting back carbs a tad? Of course if you feel you are beggining to lose muscle, you can always add them back, right?

Yeah bro, the best way to learn is through experience. If you want to cut your carbs back, then cut them back. I just wouldn't recommend dropping them below 100gs if you are worried about muscle loss. Course 70-80g of those will come pwo.

nice abs eggplant. I agree with Rocky dont drop below 100g of carbs on a workout day cuz your risking losing that hard earned lean mass. I dont know if youve tried this yet but when i got stuck in my diet i decreased proteins a lil and i increased my fats about 6g per meal. If you havent already tried that give it a whril, it worked for me..

hey guys...yea i was actually thinking if i should go below the 100g mark..but now that you guys said its better not to..i think i'll just stay at this level..right now..there's a slight change in my body composition..looking a bit tighter..Beernutz, i had actually dropped 20g of protein from where i started at 320g..i've adjusted the amount of protein due to my new bodyweight..67kg..weight is still at 67kg for about 1-2 weeks..but as i said..i realised myself getting tighter..i suppose i'm on the right track..i'm not sure if i'm gona drop the protein a little..but right now..i'll just have to see what happens..since i juts dropped the carbs..
