    Gatorade and Protein..Pre and during workout.

    Ive read that its good to have like a 2:1 ratio for a pre and during workout shake. it said some sorta carbs like simple maybe. What kind of carbs would be in gatorade and could i mix the gatorade drink that has like 45 gms carbs with a protein powder?

    Where did you read this? What is "it said".......

    For one, I can say drinking sugars DURING a workout is not wise at all. You want to save the spike for pwo, and you don't want blood sugar swings DURING a weight training endeavor.
