all you guys are correct but it wont hurt to have a little sodium daily to add MORE flavor to our food. i put seasonings conatining sodium in some of my meals, this amount is negligible and wont lead to excessive bloating

makes ya feel fat and bloated by retaining water, thus makes ya feel bad when ya look in the mirror. But it can be flushed out very quickly

Sodium, as well as potassium, is very key for electrolyte balances in the body. Sodium is not a "bad" thing, but too little water to dilute it is, thus contributing to the bloated look/feeling.
