    Cardio and Target Heart Rate

So if I under stand correctly 60% of your maximum. So I enter all my info into the heart rate calculator and it tells me that 60% I should be at 113Bpm. That sounds really low to me. What do you guys think? I am 31 with a resting heart rate if I remember right in the low 50's seems like it was like 51 or somethign like that. but I could be wrong..

For fat burning you should be at 65-70%....

So at 31 years old here is how you figure it:

    220 - 31 * .65 = 122.85

    220 - 31 * .7 = 132.3

This means you want to stay within 123 and 133 beats per minute for fat burning cardio. Don't worry about the pace, it is nothing more than a brisk walk. It works believe me.

Its kinda funny i lowered the incline on the treadmill keeping the pace about 3.5Mph to get my heart rate down in the 130's.. I did not even feel like I was working.. but I usualy only go 30 minutes I am now doing 45 minutes at the lower heart rate.. we shall see how my body reacts to it..
