    carb cycling..what's your take?

    hi guys..i'm thinking off trying carb cycling..right now, i'm at 2600 calories everyday..i auo cycle carbs,meaning 130g of carbs on workout days and zero carbs on non-workout days...and i have a high carb day of 250-300g once per week from clean sources..i'm thinking whether i'll produce better results by doing the following..

    day1=130g carbs,295g pro,100g fats
    day2=100g carbs,295g pro,100g fats
    day3=160g carbs,295g pro,100g fats
    day4=130g,carbs,295g pro,100g fats
    day5=100g carbs,295g pro,100g fats
    day6=160g carbs,295g pro,100g fats

    by doing this, i'mot only constantly cycling and changing the macros, but also the calories..will this benefit in speeding up metabolism,preserving more LBM, than hving the same calories everyday but only changing macros for carbs and fats? swolecat and other diet master, pls ell me what you think?

    It's not that hard buddy. Just plan what you are going to eat throughout the day and add up the macros.

    alright, im not into the whole counting thing, i am a little, but not precisly...although, i do make sure i eat correctly, no carb\fat meals, and about 6 meals a day, anyways, i was going to ask as you all say "macros" you're talking about....grams of carbs, fat, and protein thats it? no cals, btw i am pretty sure theres 9 calories in a gram of fat.

    hope you understand my Q.

    That's the only thing you can count....pro/fat/carbs.

    Those all equal caloric value. 4 per gram for carb/pro, 9 for fat.
