    will to much cardio lead to muscle loss

    There are alot more variables to think about. Readin the sticky at the top is a good starting point

    Of course, the phrase "too much" means just that, TOO MUCH!

    Even the "right amount" will lead to muscle loss if you:

    1) Do the wrong kind of cardio for fat loss
    2) Do cardio with sugar in the blood
    3) Your diet sucks
    4) Your workouts are sub-par
    5) Your post-workout eating sucks

    There are more "if's", but that's a good starting point for the very general question you posed.
