    Lost muscle..not stressing just curious

Since i started cutting i lost about 2-3% bf but i also lost 1" off my arms. Im not stressing over it for two reasons. For one i know i can get it back when bulking and 2 i know its worse to stress when cutting due to catabolism. Can anyone give me examples of things they did to break through a fat burning sticking phase? Any suggestions would be appreciated. My current plan is to drop 30g of carbs on workout days to do try to break through this phase.

thanks ill give those two things a try. How much carbs do you have on a carb up day....also why dont you just drop carbs and leave the fat at the same place. Is it out of fear of losing more muscle

that should be ok, im just curious what was your bf before you lost the additional 2-3% and how long did it take you to lose it?

You'll be making changes through diet then. (Double sessions on off days from training can work, but your diet must be impeccable to not do damage)

On training days im goin to eliminate 30g of carbs from my 20 in my pwo and 10 in my ppwo but i dont know how much to up the fats. Is it like for every 2g taken off of carbs add 1 fat???cant remember..

Well 2 grams of carbs is 8 kcals.
1 gram of fat is 9 kcals.

So you know how much fat to add when you take out the carbs. ........start w/an about equal exchange, then going by how you look and results, you adjust from there either way.

well i must be losing muscle aswell as fat because i lost 1" from my arms from 1 month ago. Would this carb to fat exchange risk more muscle loss?

    Few questions.....

Are you still lifting heavy even though your cutting?

Are you thinking about losing muscle?

Are you having a pro/fat meal w/ EFA before bed?

    Are you taking glutamine?

Are you sure yoru staying in your target HR zone during cardio?

I made a change in the past 1 and 1/2 or so and i dropped protein to 220g and upped fats to 95 on training days. On non training dayz i upped fats to 130g and dropped prtoein to 220g. But it seems like after i did this i lost the most muscle, but i originally tried this to break through my plateau. Could this protein drop have anything to do with muscle loss? I currently weigh 187lbs.

dont know what to say bro, seems your dong everything right. logical explanation is there is a snag somewhere in your diet and nutrition. best leave that to the diet gurus. good luck

I wouldn't sweat the loss of size from your arms too much bro. When I was cutting I lost 1/2 inch or more from my arms, but since bulking I have gained it all back, plus 1/4 of an inch, and they are a lot leaner. Once the cutting is over (or you carb up for about 3-4 days), then you will see that all those carbs will fill you back out.

i did a little research on it. Would it help with naturally low test levels? how much does it cost, and how much would i use it if its not for pct? What are some signs of low test levels?

If you have low test levels (true low test levels) funk the OTC stuff, see a doc and get normalized. It's your right to be a man.

You may be just fine, I just thought I'd offer that up as something to look into.

Thanks swole ill def see the doctor to check it out. I went to my doctor 2 months ago to ask him about if i had any high levels of estrogen(never did any cycles but i was still curious because of the way my body was storing fat) and he said hes been my doctor since i was a baby and that iam normal, but i never asked him about test levels, ill check it out.
