    man this thread digressed....anyway, i've found that if you shop in bulk it's usually alot cheaper. I go to Sams club which is basically a bulk wholesaler.

    proteins
    boneless skinless chicken breasts
    eggs
    tuna
    95% lean beef
    top sirloin
    fat free beef jerkey
    ground turkey
    salmon steak

    carbs
    oatmeal
    cream of rice

    fats
    natty pb
    flax oil
    olive oil for variety

    extras
    sugar free strawberry jam (great in oatmeal and cream of rice)
    extra gum wintergreen
    fat free creamer for morning coffee
    diet dr pepper

    I spend about $400/month on food
    $100/month on supps and protein
