eating steak while cutting
can u eat steak while ur trying to eat clean, is this considered clean or no?
06-12-2004, 05:47 PM #2
Yes you can eat steak, but try to limit to only once a week. Also try buffalo steak...it is like steak, but much leaner.

agree. . .you can eat it just make sure it is a leaner cut and dont go overboard with it

and what about nonfat milk,24 oz a day, i heard the calcium helps to prevent formation of adipose tissue and helps u to cut fat?

06-12-2004, 05:56 PM #6

There are no bodybuilders that drink milk. The reason why milk is not as good as everyone thinks it is is because of the pasterization of the milk. For instance, if you were to drink milk raw and in the unpasterized state (which some people do) it is much more healthier for you.

You'll get all the calcium you need from low starch vegatables. I haven't drank milk in almost a year.

You would be better off to use water in the shakes though esp during cutting.
06-12-2004, 06:07 PM #16
i do use water in all my shakes, but during the day i would take down a glass of milk cuz i read that article
06-12-2004, 06:07 PM #17
i agree. .milk has plenty of fats and carbs, which is a nono, but to each his own. . .if its working for you and you like your results then stick with it

Phuck milk.....................really though.........
Steak is my staple when ripping up. No better substance on earth to help retain as much of your lean mass as possible.

I agree with swole on this one....Ive ate steak throughout most of my cutting diet and had great results, just try and trim the fat before u cook it

i've never had any steak leaner than buffalo. i highly recommend it. i also only recommend dairy products if they're raw. raw milk is awesome and so is raw cheese.

my rugby coach said i should eat some venison(deer meat). would that be an ok source of protein. im bulking. but i would have it with my pro/carb meals. he says its really lean. is that true?
