how many cals in egg whites?

if i eat 12 egg whites with breakfest, how many calories am i really injesting?
maybe a dumb question but i was curious. for 1 egg it says 70 cals. but it has to be less when you take the yoke out. any ideas? :unsure:

My egg whites have 15 cals and 3g protein.

It looks like we've all got different info on egg whites--I've heard 17 cals and 3.5g protein for a 50g egg.

well i eat the pasturized eggwhites in the carton. . and it says 3 tbsp is one egg and those are the numbers it gave. . .but for an actual egg ehite from the shell then yes those are the numbers i found:elephant:

As you guys have pointed out it is different from egg whites from an actual egg, to the egg whites in a carton. The cartons I buy have the same nutrition facts as dalcowbags........but a regular egg white from an egg has like 3-4g of protein and about 12-16 calories depending on size.


I think that egg white carton is messed up too, if it is 5g of protein, it should be 20 cals. Makes me wonder what else is in them that isn't on the lable??
