    Most protein bars taste great.....

Now as for being good for you?? LOL.... doubt you'll find any.

Most guys around here won't recommend that you use protein bars in your diet.

Pure Protein tastes ok. I would suggest foods over bars, even if you are rushed for time. Get some tuna in a pouch, be alot better and if you have time to eat a bar, then. . . .

I like the pure protein and MET-RX Big 100's and protein plus. If you are cutting carbs the MET-RX have a lot of carbs in them so not a good idea. Food is better but if you don't like tuna or want something sweet and healthy hell, a pro bar is better than nothing.

They have a place though, an extra 35g of protein when you can't get home for a meal with hardly any fat or carbs wouldn't hurt from time to time.

Maybe they have a place in your diet..... definitely not in mine. I would rather stop at a gas station and pick up some beef jerky/almonds to hold me over until I got somewhere to cook another meal. There are far better choices for food on the go than a protein bar.

Hell yea, the days I work, I deliver furniture for 12+ hr days.... Seems like im the road forever with only one lunch. I just pack an @ss load of venison jerky, some almonds, some protein powder to be mixed with water, and a large can of tuna for my 15min lunch. Maybe id consider a protein bar on a cheatday, but after learnin all this diet info from AR, ill never touch a protein bar.
