im just lookin for a good indepth book about nutrition. For instance if u eat certain protein, carbs and fats at specific times of the day for different types of activities what would be the best foods to eat.

I'd recommend Cracking the Metabolic Code by Lavalle and Yale. It does an excellent job of explaining how the systems of your body work together in the form of your metabolism. Their nutrition and supplementation recomendations should be modified for the fitness enthusiast as they are directed at the "average" or even the "unhealthy" person. However, they do such an excellent job of explaining WHY you should consume them that it's petty straightforward to estimate whether you should take in more or less of a specific compound. Definitely gets the Bad Man Seal of Approval.
