I actually eat mine southern style, being from the south. In my area, if you put sugar/honey/etc. on your grits/oats/cream of wheat, you get SHOT at dawn.
I can't believe it's not butter spray, some salt, and my cooked egg whites go into the oats and get all mixed up. Good stuff.
No milk in my sh*t either, nope.....

Teaspoon of "I cant believe it's not butter" and a few packs of splenda do the trick for me.

i take the oat meal and put it in cold water and then eat it like cereal. No heating or microwaving. Just oatmeal in ice cold water and some liquid egg whites.

For those that have that much trouble with the taste of plain, Quaker actually has a "Low Sugar" variety in 2 flavors - Maple & Brown Sugar and Apples & Cinnamon. Tastes great. I add a little hot water and a 1/4 cup of milk.

I also put honey it my oatmeal sometimes. I found some splenda brown sugar in the grocery store too thats not bad in oatmeal if you like brown sugar. I think it is way better than plain. Yup butter helps too!

I've actually taken to eating it plain and DRY....and it's actually not bad. They're like my own personal cheerios that way now. Eat out of a cereal bowl spoon and all....get some weird looks around the apartment, but hey, it's the easiest way for me to ingest them when they're not part of a protein shake, in which case i just blend it in.

**** maybe is houodl put them in a protein shake that sounds like a good suggestion, how d0oes that turn out? I got the orange protein by all the whey it sUCKS! i should have gotten vanilla!!

I've always eaten it with just water and splenda, guess I'm lucky that I like the taste of it that way

Give chocolate a rip. I often add NxCare ISO-XP chocolate protein powder to my oatmeal. Tastes great, gives me protein and mad gas.

I usually just take a protien scoop and dump some in my mouth. Swish some water in my mouth and swallow. I can get 3/4 a cup of oatmeal in me in less than a minute. Eating is functional.
