    my cutting diet...

Alright I just finished my first cycle and was pretty happy with the results. I am 6'1'', 229, and about 18% bf. I made the mistake of not cutting up before my cycle, so now I have 2 1/2 months to get as lean as possible while trying to maintain my gains. I will start taking clen next week when I run PCT. Just wanted to get some opinions on my diet/training program. I realize that I wll lose some lean muscle, but I'll have to deal as I really want to lean up before I start my next cycle. I do cardio first thing in the morning for 45 min 6 times a week. I lift later in the day 5 times a week. Here is an average day for me meal wise. Let me know if I should perhaps add/drop some calories/protein/carbs, or change anything up. THANKS

    wake up: Cardio 45 min

meal 1: protein bar, chicken breast, 1/2 cup oats

meal 2: 8 oz 99% lean ground turkey, almonds, piece of wheat bread

meal 3: chick breast, flax seed oil, 1/2 cup oats

    work out
PWO: shake w 50 gm protein/90 gram carbs

meal 4: chick breast, almonds, 1/2 cup brown rice

meal 5: shake w 50 gm protein with flax

I also throw in veggies w 2 of the meals, and when I start clen I will add bananas and oranges

    I cheat once a week

I think I should also mention that other than gym time, most of my day consists of sitting through class/reading/studying. In other words I'm not really that active as far as a job goes or anything else

Why do you have to get cut in 2 1/2 months?

Check out the cutting sticky at the top of the diet forum dude. Your diet has several flaws. Repost your diet after reading the sticky and we can help you twek the details.

I read that sticky. Anyways, I don't really need to get CUT in this amount of time, just drop as much body fat as possible while keeping muscle. I forgot to mention I'm taking glutamine 5 gm before my cardio, and then 5 later in the day (usually sometime near bedtime). What would you change about the diet?

You probably want to be taking out the carbs dude. Try to limit pro/carb meals to one or two per day.

I think I could do 1 carb meal per day. How about taking out the carbs in meal 4?
Now, should I have my 1 meal of carbs in #3 right before I lift? If so then I should leave the flax out of #3 like I mentioned. Or should I have the carbs in meal 1? Thanks for all the help.

Leave the carbs in meal #4. This is your PPWO meal and it helps maintain the good things that are happening in your PWO.

Meal #1 should be a pro/fat meal as this will help maintain the lipolysis that you started with your cardio.

Ok, I am changing things up as we speak. I think that all this hard work and dedication will pay off nicely. Thanks for the input guys, I'm going to be posting some pics in the picture section soon.
