"Other" Carbohydrates...

On food labels they have Total Carbs, then for the types of carbs theres fiber, sugar, and "other carbohydrate". which of the subheadings are complex and which ones are simple carbs? (im pretty sure sugar is simple...)

simple carbs: (sugars) the single sugars (monosacaccharides) and the pairs of sugars (disacaccharides) linked together. In other words simple carbs are sugars yes

Net carbs (the ones that affect blood sugar) = Total carbs - dietary fiber - sugar alcohols.

Oops, my bad, I read the question wrong... Just check the GI index to see if something is a simple/complex carb.

So "Other Carbohydrate" isn't always complex carbs?

Like say you have
Total Carbs: 50
Fiber:10
Sugar:10
Other Carbohydrate:30

That would be 30 net carbs, but then you have to find out if these net carbs are complex or not?
