    bulking

    hey,

im currently bulking, about to start a cycle and well thought id ask for people to check my diet

    im 6`2 203lbs (unsure about bf%)

anyway: i used 203 * 17 to get my cal requirement of 3451 cals

i then plan on using 40/40/20

    40% carbs, 40% protein, 20% fats

    1 g fat 9
    1g protein 4
    1g carbs 4

    1380.4 cals for both carbs/protein which = 345.1grams of both /ed
    and fats 690.2 cals / 9 = 76g fats / ed

anyway that was just to show how i worked out what i need (if im 100% wrong please say)

    AM
    10:00 - 100g oats w/water
    60g whey

    1:00 - Tin of tuna
    whey

    4:00 - pre workout
    100g oats
    20g whey with it

    5:30 ish (after workout)
    90g dextrose, 50g whey

    7:00 dinner
    usually skinless, boneless chicken breasts
veggies such as brocoli, peas, cauliflower

    10:00 200g Lamb mince/extra lean mince (beef)

    12:00 / 1:00 (last thing before bed) : 40g casein

i havent got the figures in terms of fats/proteins/carbs/cals as of yet, but i just thought id ask for comments as it stands

as for flax (efas) i take cod liver oil capsules, i was thinking about getting flax oil, but i have a feel itd taste bad

along with that i take the standard multi vit, vit c and also glucosamine atm

    any help is greatly appreciated

you might want a solid food here, but this is ok

    1:00 - Tin of tuna
    whey
need a fat here (flax oil, almonds, natty PB, olive oil ect ect)

    4:00 - pre workout
    100g oats
    20g whey with it
scrap the oats. .add a fat

    5:30 ish (after workout)
    90g dextrose, 50g whey
    good

    7:00 dinner
    usually skinless, boneless chicken breasts
veggies such as brocoli, peas, cauliflower
need a starchy carbs here, (potatoes, brown rice, yams)

    10:00 200g Lamb mince/extra lean mince (beef)
    good
    12:00 / 1:00 (last thing before bed) : 40g casein
    good

caps are garbage, it takes about 14 of em to equal 1 tbsp of flax

along with that i take the standard multi vit, vit c and also glucosamine atm

If you are bulking, keep the oats. You are going to burn right through them anyhow during the workout (blood glucose) and you can utilize that as a form of anti-catabolism.

quick question about that swole. when bulking i only eat 2 meals b4 my lift with my first being pro/carb and my second being pro/fat. If i made my second meal pro/carb also would i use those carbs up while lifting? or would that just be too much carbs?

sry to hijack, but its kinda on the topic
