Help with gaining 20 lbs weight
I've read the stickies and done some searching but didn't come up with much.
Im 160 and Im trying to gain weight where 180 sounds like a nice goal... don't mind fat cause when I was tested for bf I was told it was too low.
Just want to put on some weight and faster the better.
Im thinking of beginning with eating 3000-3500 kkal and gradually raise it.
But what kind of food should I eat??
The stuff that's usually bought around here is bread (Im wondering: is there big difference if I eat my bread toasted), bananas and other fruits, skyr (a yogurt-like product with 7,5-11,5 protein and 60-125 kkal per 100g), Icelandic sour milk (a yogurt-like product with 3 protein and 90 kkal per 100g) and meat or fish for dinner.
Im wondering is there big difference if I eat my bread toasted cause I like toasted bread with bacon cheese.
When Im thinking about gaining weight should I just look at the calories and just eat anything with high calories or what? Or should I eat some specific food types?? Help please!

if you are trying to gain weight and dont care about the extra fat, then i would eat anything you can get your hands on, try some weight gainer or some meal replacement shakes. just eat now to gain and later on you can diet down to get ripped.

I'd say to try to eat healthy, eat high protein foods like red meat, fish, etc. Get some meal replacements and try to drink four a day, between each meal. I like Nepro personally, it has all of the esential nutrients in it and it's almost 500 cals in a little 6oz can. Only problem is that it costs about $4 per can. I drank four of those per day and gained weight really fast. Stay away from cardio and sports. Don't do too much high rep weight lifting either.

So weight gainers eh? Do you really recommend them? Like megamass?

I personally don't like weight gainers. They've always been full of empty calories. Maybe things have changed over the last couple of decades, but that's how they used to be. Meal replacements tend to have most if not all of the esential nutrients, minerals, vitamins, etc.

I'm glad Elliot the homogay finally stated it explicitly, because this thread was worrying me with the advice was given. I know a few people were being sarcastic, but I'm not sure it was clear to sorn as he's a newbie.
Dude, if you want to be a fat tub of $hit, then go ahead and eat everything in sight. I don't care that you currently only weigh 160. I think that's not what you really want to do.

PWO I have less protein than my other meals because PWO is 2:1 carbs to protien.... and I don't feel the need at my size for anything more than 51g of Dextrose. So I go 25g of protein and 51g of dextrose..... I have been using it since I started and I am having no problem growing.
