Nutritionist
Has anyone gone to see a nutritionist? If so, what it worth it? Did they do anything that you couldn't of done yourself? I was thinking of going to see one when the summer is over to help me bulk. I might give up the AS for good or at least till next summer. I am not sure if this is the right forum for this questin of not I am sorry.

I think you can find out everything you need to know right here. However if that doesnt work after a while then it might be worth it to talk to an RD. Talk to Swole.

my gf's brother went to a nutritionalist and they told him every fast food meal he eats will add on 5lbs of weight. (basically telling him how unhealthy it is). he told them that is impossible and never went back

I dont know if that is his official title or not, but he does have a program. He is as far as you need to search for a source of knowledge about nutrition though.

They are for people that dont work out and are fat asses and they go by all the FDA rules and the food pyramid.. Needless to say people who work out needs more protein and calories than regular people who sit on their asses all day.. Atleast the one i went to at school was a dumbass... get on swole's program and you'll be glad you did guaranteed.. nice guy and takes care of you if you respect him. Best money i've ever spent was the money that put me on SGX.

See I was looking for someone I can meet face to face. This way they can take my bf%, etc.. I was thinking about taking swoles program. My friend was telling me about this nutritionist he heard of that a lot of people who are in comps. go to around here. My friend says he has some of his clients pics on the wall and they are sick looking. But at the same time, my friend went to a nutrionist, and I posted his diet on here one time and members made quite a few changes. Dont get me wrong my friend looks sick.

having done 2.5 years of graduate work in nutrition, i can say that as far as "getting big" and "cutting up" go, just stick to this forum, b/c pretty much every question has been asked and answered, (or will be gladly answered)....
unless you have specific metabolic issues or vitamin imbalances, USE THE SEARCH BUTTON

I am currently studying to be an RD and a nutritionist. . . .dont waste your money. If you want to get big and ripped, then go to someone who is big and ripped.

I'm sure Swole is going to chime in, but I just wanted to let you know that he is great at responding to emails and lots of support on his client only forum.

I am really thinking about swoles program. Everyone is making it sound good. But I wonder what is the difference between his progrman and one you would get from a nutritionist?

I have emailed him and got the cost already. See I hopefully want to stop using AS and would like to start gaining natural. Maybe before next summer Ill go back on.(hopefully not). I was going to put the xtra money toward a nutritionist, so this way I still see more gains then If I was to do nothing.

Mostly everything you need to know in terms of dieting and changing your physique is all right here in the diet section. Honestly, it is. But if you want someone to take the guesswork out of dieting and design you a personalized program, you should inquire about Swole's services.

Yeah, a Registered Dietitian is a lot different then a Nutritionist.
DCB- Are you planning on working at a hospital when you become a RD?

About getting a nutritionist, I would say if you can't get motivated yourself. They are great for getting you going and sticking with your diet. A lot of them will call you and send you things. If you can get one for a good deal then get one.

Didnt mean to upset you DCB, just trying to make a point that people who have similar goals as yourself might be the best people to get help from. I wasnt trying to discredit you or RD's in general. My bad.
