Sugars
I went grocery shopping last night and i stumbled upon some Organic Cane sugar at my local supermarket. Whats the difference between that and regular sugar? I looked at the nutrition facts and there is no difference in kcals of regular sugar and the organic kind??? Whats up with that

Sugar is sugar is sugar. It has the nutrient content like you said, it is the same on the glycemic index. Some health food enthusiasts think that non-bleached sugar is better for you. Thats the only difference.

natural cane sugar is usually darker and it is a little more robust in taste but it is still sugar that has been refined
