how can you even say Emmitt does not deserve the rushing title??? he is one of the hardest working players you will ever see. and again with the talk. .he could've done this with that line and that QB. .BUT HE DIDNT, AND WE WILL NEVER KNOW IF HE COULD OR NOT, end of story. and what celebration by emmitt? he might get worked up and and show emotion but he has never spiked the ball, he keeps the ball under his arm b/c he kept all of them. beleive me bro, i have seen every emmitt TD since his college days and his senior year of high school, hardly a big celebration.
barry could have had it huh. . prove he could have had it. in the mean time i am gonna break out my calculator to add up all the superbowls da boys have.
HEY SWOLE!??! help a bro out here man, i'm on an island!!

everyone and the mother knows the Lions suck donkey balls. its going to take them a long time to build a championship team that would contend with the teams of now. Look how long it took the Pistons to do it!
By the way you taking this out of context and making this a whole Dallas team thing. I never said Dallas Cowboys were not a good football team! All trees have a few bad apples and a few key fruits.
I couldnt prove Barry having that record now. It is long gone for him, but if he did not retire he would have had it hands down! I will say it, the sports critics will say it! everyone knows Barry Sanders was far better of a RB than Emmitt Smith. Just search the web and you will see who people rate as the greatest RB of all time.abstrack@protonmail.com

Doods, Barry was the best bar none. Even The late Great Walter Payton thought so. Emmit ran behind a all pro line. Barry ran out of an unconventional offense, the fun and gun. No question if Barry had the same line or ran out of pro sytle offense he would have crushed all the record books if he didnt retire.

we are talkin about the best pure running back, regardless of records. Actually before Walter died he even admitted Barry was goin to break his records if not shatter them all. Walter breathed a sigh of relief when Barry retired.

OHH YEAH WELLL EAT THIS BIIITCH........
The Cowboy's played the Baltimore Colts in their first Super Bowl. The Baltimore Colts were members on the NFL that switched to the American Football Conference (along with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns) as part of the NFL-AFL merger. This was not the Colt's first Super Bowl. The Colts lost Super Bowl III to the New York Jets.
Super Bowl V was marked by strong defenses producing 10 turnovers (6 by Baltimore). Despite this, Dallas got off to a quick start with a pair of field goals to lead 6-0 early in the second quarter. The pace of the game changed when Johnny Unitas completed a controversial 75-yard touchdown pass to John Mackey. The pass was attended for Eddie Hinton and was defended by Mel Renfro. The two went up for the ball at the same time. The ball bounced off Hinton and to Mackey and completed the touchdown. Officials said the ball touched Renfro before Mackey caught it and thus was a legal play (NFL Rules at the time stated that a ball could not rebound from one teammate to another without a defending player touching it first). The play stood. However, the Colts could not take the lead as the Cowboys blocked the extra point. Duane Thomas for Dallas scored a touchdown after an Unitas fumble and Dallas took a 13-6 half-time lead.
A fumble by Baltimore on the opening kickoff of the second half gave Dallas a chance to open the lead. Dallas drove to the two-yard line where a second controversial play went against Dallas. Duane Thomas fumbled and it appeared that center Dave Manders recovered. However, officials did not see the recovery and awarded the ball to Baltimore. The score remained 13-6 and stayed that way into the fourth quarter. However, two late interceptions by Craig Morton of Dallas lead to 10 Baltimore points, including the game-winning 32-yard field goal as time expired.
The loss was especially bitter for Dallas considering they had the lead for so long and two controversial plays went against Dallas giving Baltimore a touchdown and costing Dallas another. On the bright side, Chuck Howley was voted the game's Most Valuable Player. He was the first player to win the award on the losing team.

YEH, WELL YO JUST GOT OWNED HERE
Familiar faces
It's hard enough for a high school football player to make it into the NFL, and it's even harder to find high school teammates in the entire league. Two pair of Arizona Cardinals defied the odds and are living their dreams together, several years after they thought they would never see each other again. Defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch and linebacker LeVar Woods both grew up in the small town of Larchwood, Iowa, and attended junior high and high school together, while running back Marcel Shipp and linebacker Gerald Hayes, both from Patterson, N.J., have been playing football together since as long as they can remember. This is the type of chemistry teams need when players rally around each other. "I think it was just something we always assumed we could do, someway, somehow," explained Shipp.

Oh yeah and by the way ...
Super Bowl XXVIII was a rematch of Super Bowl XXVII: the Cowboys against the Buffalo Bills, this time in Atlanta. Much to the grief of the AFC, the Buffalo Bills had won their fourth straight AFC Championship. This time they wanted the ring. To get it, they would have to beat the defending Super Bowl Champions, the team that beat them last year. No one expected this game to be any different from last year's game. It was
Buffalo's defense stood tall in the first half and only allowed Dallas two field goals. Buffalo took a 13-6 lead into half-time. Even worse, Buffalo started the second half with the ball. As the second half began, Buffalo began a drive that could have ended the Cowboy's hopes. Then as fate would have it, the turnover bug that hurt Buffalo in Super Bowl XXVII struck again. Leon Lett caused a fumble which was returned by James Washington for a touchdown. Dallas was tied and had the momemtum. Dallas never looked back as Buffalo never scored in the second half. Dallas won 30-13 and successfully defended their Super Bowl Championship.
