    is what img oing to be eating sufficient for gians?

    Alright bro's and fellow female members Im not a big veggie eater - never have been. Im going to be going on a cycle soon and im getting a little worried that what i want to eat isn't going to give me "Optimal" gains.

    My main foods are going to be Chicken - beef - rice - potatos. I'm a very picky eater but these foods i do like and no matter how "boring" the diet is..... i can stick to it without a problem. Along with those foods - i'll be takin in whey protein shakes. The suppliments and everything i have covered..... I just want to make sure what im eating is ok....

    Any opinions? Is there something that you feel i should be eating? While on cycle im going to try to throw in veggies and other foods - i guess it's a matter of getting my taste buds used to them.

    Veggies are an essential source of fiber (not to mention vitamins). They should be part of the majority of your meals.

    Theres no protien, that valuable stomach real estate is reserved for steaks, chicken, rice, and tuna.

    I just feel better when i have some greens spread thru the day.. if that makes sense...

    AandF is gettin molested in the Diet forum tonight.. poor guy...first LMO, now DCB...sheesh...

    Alright - i checked out the bulking thread... thanks for the help guys.....

    I think im planning on about 6-8 meals a day - mainly eating steak, chicken, turkey, oatmeal, wheatbread, wheat pasta, rice, a tad of peanut butter, and flax seed oild at night. Also, between 3-4 protein shakes a day.

    As far as the rice goes..... is white rice ok or is brown rice necessary?

    Most will say long-grain brown rice...

    Also, natty peantu butter would be best...(not skippy's lol)

    be sure and combine pro\fat, or pro\carb, never fat\carb, and put your meals in order acording to your workout plan...

    3pm - carb drink with light protein

    *workout at 4pm till about 5 ish*

    5:30 protein shake with something else (not sure yet what im going to choose)

    8:00 - steak/chicken with whole wheat pasta or rice

    This is just a quick draft.... how far off am i? Any suggestions?

    thanks for the help DCB..... now where you said to take the EFA's - can i just use flax seed oil for all 3 times of the day or should i switch it up....?

    I figured i'd have flax seed twice and i'll cook the pasta with olive oil.....

    you can take it all three times if you want. pasta with olive oil fine.

    i can eat a house.. at times i feel hungry right after a meal.. if it wasnt for veggies instead of eating a house i would be the size of one..

    see.... thats my problem. Sometimes im not hungry but at other times im hungy 30 minutes after i eat.... and im assuming when im bulking... i should pretty much eat if im hungry. I'll be on EQ AND b12...... som my hunger ought to show pretty nicely

    anyways.... what do i do if i get hungry again? Just take out a chicken breast and eat it.....? Or should i try to stick tot he regimented times?

    if you wanna stay strict bro, then you can munch on some celery and drink some diet soda err somethin. i like to snack on some protein crunchies from www.netrition.com its called RAW and they are crazy good, esp on oatmeal

    dont snack... always be strict.. drink water, eat some lettuce, sugar free jello..
