    PWO Shake after abs?

    heres my current routine:

    day 1...am cardio, pm chest+tri
    day 2...am cardio, pm legs
    day 3...am cardio, pm shoulders
    day 4..am cardio, pm back+bi's
    day 5-6...am cardio, pm abs
    day 7.....am cardio, no lift

    should i have a pwo shake and ppwo carb/pro meal on ab days or no??? i get a good ab workout, all kinds of twists, crunches, weighted reverse crunches, etc....so my body would need the shake and carbs right? then my 1 cardio day i have like no carbs at all...sound good?

    other than this ? my diet is pretty solid now, thanks to all the help i've been given here!!!

    The only time I would cut these out would be 4 to 6 weeks out from a contest.

    you will be better of just moving abs to another day. how many f-in ab excersis you doin that you have an entire workout for it. i do abs once a week and do 4-5 sets and thats it

    For abs you need very little glycogen replinishment. Your pwo shake won't appear nearly the same as one for legs would.

    yes

    swole i understand that. i did my abs today, but i blast the **** out of them. i do reverse crunces with ankle weights, lying leg raises, crunches on a roman with olympic weights on my chest, oblique twists, etc...it was a 45 min workout...and my pwo shake was not nearly as much.

    it only had 22gm protein with 44carb, instead of 44 protein 88carb, but still my 7gms creatine...would this be alright, or should i just do what was said and switch my abs to another day? if so what would be a good day to add them to, probably chest i think, i could do some crazy good core exercises?

    dcb why do you think thats bad??? over working?????

    i dont do that every ab workout, just occasionally when i see a body part lagging i bomb the **** out of it, and when it recovers, i see huge strength increases. it just so happened i thought my abs were lacking.....

    IYHO should i just add abs to my chest day and do 3days only cardio?
