    Preparing foods days before

    Hey guys:

I'm just getting back into lifting after a summer layoff, I got fat ass hell and addicted to ****ty foods. Anyways I lifted mon, tue, and took today off, but I also find it difficult to stick with a diet lately, I can see mcdonalds from my room and the double cheesburgers are so damm tempting.

Anyways I just bough some tupperware and plan on preparing like 3 chicken breasts, rice and vegatiable for three meals a day ahead of time, anyone have experience with this. How many days of food can I make in advance, can I make it freeze it and nuke it and it still have some taste and the chicken not so damm tought and the vegatable and rice not be completely ****.

Tell me what you guys think.

Three days in advance you should not have to freeze it, excellent idea I do it when I have the time.

Anything cooked can stay in the fridge for 5-7 days. I'd say anything longer, cook it and stick it in the freezer.

i cook for 4-5 days in advance and have no problems....nuking is fine if you dont care about the zapping of all the antioxidants in your veggies.

I grill 10lbs of chicken every friday or saturday night. I then weigh it out and put it all in sandwich bags 8oz at a time. I eat chicken 2-3 times a day. It is a HELL of a lot easier to stick with your diet if you are prepared. Having chicken in the fridge is the way to go. I also make big bowls of tuna at once also, and store in the fridge for 5-7 days while I eat it.
