    couple of fat questions.

    hey everyone,
Just trying to fine tune my diet a bit. I posted it a couple of weeks ago.

    just a couple of questions.

    1. Is it bad to mix good and bad fats in the same meal? If i have bacon or a steak which has saturated fat, if the amount is not much can I still add a healthy fat (ie flax or olive) in the same meal?

    2. Are trans fat ok even if I neatralize them with good fats? I just want to add some onion/sour cream with my tuna

thanks. Diet is going good by the way, just looking for a little more options.

As long as you have healthy fats to equal out the "bad" fats and keep insulin surges w/fats @ bay, you will be fine in including them both, whether that be together or seperate.

Isn't "everything" we see on the news/media bad for you in some
    way/shape/form? I wouldn't stress over it.

Exhaust from the car in front of you is supposed to take about 4 mins of your life each time you breathe it, but you don't see people quit driving.

You were right, by utilizing the pro/fat meals, and carbs WHEN you purposely wish to spike slin. (Some can use low gi carbs to keep slin @ bay as well, but this is usually on "maintenance" w/reduced cardio, not an all out cutting approach)
