    Protein content in food

This may seem like a stupid question but everyone knows counting your calories and protein, carb and fat intake is important in achieving your goals in training but does anyone know exactly how much protein per gram is in your meat sources such as steak, chicken breasts and fish? It's easy to work out with tuna cos its written on the tin, but when you're cooking up that massive bit of steak or chicken, how much protein is actually in it?
