slack breakfast
ive been just making a shake with olive oil lately for my breakfast. of course this is not ideal, but my question doesnt pertain to that. i want to know how long you guys think that protein will take to be digested. basically just so i know when to schedule my next meal. i dont have a lot of breathing room because of school and work though.

If you are taking in a whey protein shake, it will go through you in less than a hour. Try a caseinate protein.

You're good for about 2 hours bro as the fats do slow the absorption. Then you'll want to eat after that 2 hour mark as it'll take a while for that next meal to get into your system.

You know how oil seperates from water? This is what happens when you down that pro/flax shake since their both in liquid form.

How about utilizing the Starkist Tuna that comes in the bag? Rip open that jazz, squirt some flax, and eat it like you're finishing up the last crumbs of a bag of chips.

Do you have a Vitamin Shoppe near you? They carry it and they also have Udo's Oil which is a blend of omega 3, 6, and 9 fat. When you go there just go straight to the fridge, its in there.

my usual breakfast is 3/4 cup of oatmeal and 2 scoops whey protein. how long do you think that stays in my system? lots of people tell me it's a waste of whey protein cause it'll be gone quick from my body. tastes good though.

doesn't lactose slow the digestion process?
would it not be beneficial then to have fat free milk in your am shake???
(while bulking of course)
it adds about 8 grams protein, i think 10 sugar......
puts me at about 60 carb 60 protein, 3 fat for my breakfast
good?

Any wal-mart supercenter will sell liquid flax. At least that's the case around here. Check it out where all their vitamins are.
