Hello everyone,
This may be a stupid question, but is it "ok" to consume water before A.M. Cardio? I read alot of articles that one is supposed to perform Cardio in the morning with an empty stomach. Does water count as a food source?

Doesn't anyone take biology in high school anymore??? There is a whole chapter on digestion and absorption of nutrients, yet more and more people seem to be beyond clueless about the basic workings of the human metabolism.

uhh, I took Biology when I was a Sophomore and I wasn't too good at it (which explains why I'am a dumb a$$ at understanding that particular concept "digestion and absorption of nutrients"). I don't really understand how your post relates to my question though...help me out anyone?
I didn't address your question directly because it looked to me as though a few people have already answered it, and there's no debate on the subject. Water yields no energy and does NOT count as food, and one of the most important things you can do while trying to lose fat is stay fully hydrated, especially before, during, and after exercise.
