    Need some help about Dextrose

    Hello,

Ive heard alot of talk of Dextrose on these forums. I am currently taking whey shakes and eating correctly, however I am not intaking many carbs. I have powerbars every day, but thats only about 45g of carbs per bar. I am trying to gain muscle but slim down at the same time to show the muscle. Basically I want to grow my muscle and get ripped at the same time.

I was wondering if Dextrose would help me get more ripped.

    Thanks,

    Jim

Bro u can't bulk and lean at the same time........If u'r planning on taking dextrose it doesn't promote fat loss but simply spikes your insulin level.....If u'r planning on taking dextrose....Mix two scoops of Dextrose with your Post Workout Shakes....which will be equavilent to 80 grams of dex

well that depends on the concentration of his dex. kent nutrition dex is something like 10g/scoop so he would need 8 not 2. but you are definately right about cutting and bulking. pick one or the other, cant do both.

You cant concentrate on both cutting and bulking obviously because the diets for each would be different. But you can add lean mass without adding much if any fat. Just maintain the cardio. Thats my opinion/hope anyway as i just converted to bulking diet but keeping cardio 5 times a week.
