So I ordered some dex from kent and they sent me a knife???

This is the first I've ever gotten my dextrose from kent nutrition. Do they put pocketknives in ever box of dex??

Sometimes the owner, who is the bomb by the way, will throw in "extras". A knife, organic macadamias, different kinds of gourmet pepper/seasonings, etc.

    Great handy stuff!

Did you tell them about it? They stand by everything they sell and will make sure you are happy with your purchase.

    Indeed!

It's VERY rare, h*ll let's face it, it doesn't even happen anymore, to find a "Mom and Pop" type spot. You know, where people CARE and actually GIVE A FLYING F*CK about customers/business/repeat business/providing courteous and affordable service/etc. This is one of the scarce few locations that are left.

Yeah its a shame how large corporations have put mom n pop spots out of business. i used to work for home depot and during our orientation they proudly proclaim that they have 'destroyed' (to use their words) all the competition.

It really is sad. I appreciate WalMart as much as the next guy, but I do miss the days of local shops along a "main" street that can thrive and become a vital part of a community. Living in Texas, you see it a lot when driving through the small towns with all the boarded up buildings on the main streets. What was once the heart of the community is now completely dead, and will never return. (Is this post off topic or what?? )

I think the prices and quality at KN are what people appreciate the most, although it is nice to know that your business is truly appreciated, and the free gifts get that message across, IMO.
