healthy cereal bar etc
im going shopping this weekend and i like having a snack while im working is any of them cereal bars which say they are healthy or the ones with lots of oats in them ok to eat for cutting?
if so what sort of max grams of the following should they say on the packet
protein
fat
sodium
carbs
of which sugars(what does this mean?)
fibre

i would rather have almonds for a snack.most of the cereal bars are full of sugar.

Yeah man, just bring some almonds/cashews/pistachios/walnuts with you to work and have some crystal light or even a diet soda with it. Much better choice then a breakfast/cereal bar.

Jay Cutler eats Oat Bars in his video. He says they have 80g of CHO per bar. I have no idea the nutritional value and I do not know if you are cutting or bulking which will affect your decision.

The suggestion for Almonds is a good one. You get a little protein, some healthy fats, and a little fiber. Make sure you get the plain unsalted, unsweetened ones. A good work snack I like is almonds and a protein shake (2.5 scoops Allthewhey chocolate). If you want something with carbs oatmeal with cinnamon and vanilla protein with a little artificial sweetener is a quick healthy snack. Mark

Cutting and cereal bars cannot even be mentioned in the same context.
