    What kind of shake after martial art training?

    Im not sure what I should consider wrestling sessions. Cardio or strenght training? Both are for sure included somehow....

    Should I treat it as a workout and use a dextrose/protein shake(but with only maby 60% of the content in my usual pwo shake) after it or should I consider it as cardio and down a pro/fat shake??

    I'd never drink dextrose after something like this, no.

    You could even have a clean carb/protein meal after, I'd just make it med/low Gi and low-no fat.

    Dextrose is too extreme of a carb IMHO.

    a small shake right after practice and when I get home a little brown rice with chicken. Yum yum sounds like a good idea

    Nah, scrap the shake and just have the meal.

    Let your metabolism keep hummin' on the way home, eat the solid food, and it'll hit bottom soon enough. It's not imperative you replinish muscle glycogen immediately, so you have a break in that window.

    ** If anything, have that small shake right BEFORE this practice, to have some aminos in the blood, and some healthy fats rollin' around. **
