Lobster a good source of protein

Is lobster a good source of protein? If you were to have a pro/fat meal would just lobster dipped in butter be a good meal?

3oz has about 18 grams of protein and 1/2 gram of fat. so yeah its a good protein source. however i dont think butter is ever a good idea.

So if you were to get an 18 oz lobster it would have 108 g of protein and 3 g of fat? 108 seems like alot of protein!

    How many carbs?

I think you all got lost in the moment here. If you can go out and buy lobster every day for protein you need to tell me where you work or where you live. ****!!

That's not the weight of the meat. That includes the shell too. So you have to figure you're getting at most 9oz of actual meat

I'm talking about eating lobster once every couple of weeks maybe once a month, not every day.

Do pro's eat alot of lobster? Is it good to eat for it's protein? That dipped in butter must be a good pro/fat meal.

Butter is nothing but saturated fat... Keep eating butter and you'll drop dead of a heart attack soon

Speaking of lobster, I heard that the athletes at Michigan State get their own cafeteria, and they feed them lobster tails, filet mignon, and prime rib.....
