Does 3 whole eggs and 8 egg white make a good 50g pro/15g fat meal?
Please critique my 50 pro/15 fat omelet…
Did a search for "eggs", "egg fat" "egg yoke fat", and couldn’t find anything on this…The only thing in question, is egg yoke fat considered to be "good" fat?
Went to http://www.hormel.com/templates/know...temid=2&id=182
to get egg nutrition content. I found out that a whole large egg contains: 6.7 grams of protein and 5 grams of fat. Egg whites contain 4 grams of protein and 0 grams of fat.
If egg fat is ok to use, and you wanted only to use only eggs, to reach the 15/50, the omelet would consist of:
3 whole eggs 20.1g pro/15g fat + 8 egg whites 30.5g pro/0 fat (TOTAL 50.6g pro/15g fat). Is this good?

Mine says 6 grams pro for a whole egg and 4.5 fat = 18 pro, 13.5 fat
White are 3.5 pro and no fat.
That would give 28+18= 46 protein, and 13.5 fat.
I suppose that is close enough to your figures, yes.
