    Talking hamburger patties

i know theres lots of fat in pre-packeged hamberger patties but you can cook most of that away right? or are they total garbage? their is 3 grams of carbs 17 grams of protien and 22 grams of fat per pattie. im not cutting right now, im bulking but i still like to eat clean and look good. you think if i cook them on the george forman grill it will cook some fat away?

I cook my pre-packaged patties (from costco) on my GF grill and lots of fat comes out. Mine are something like 30g pro/23g fat. But I'm also bulking, and they taste pretty good so I eat them anyways. But maybe someone else will know more about it than I.

Yeah a lot of fat comes off the GF grill cause there's TONS of fat in them. I cook 93% lean patties and lots of fat still come off them. I think the ground chuck those pre-packs are made off have so much integrated fat that a lot of cannot really be cooked off.

We do this every year, its great and cheap. Just between me, my brother, my ma and dad we go through 4-5 deer, a half of cow, a pig, atleast one wild turkey and numerous ducks, geese, pheasant and grouse a year. Occassionally my dad goes elk or moose hunting and brings back even more meat. We still eat family meals that involves meat from our freezer every day.

i have heard that cooking the meat and then rinsing in a colander (spelling, one of those pasta drainer thingys) actually decreases the amount of fat significantly. how much though is questionable and then you wouldnt know the nutrition facts anymore.
