Any place for fructose post slin shot?
OK, I may be way off on this theory so if I'm being dumb just let me know - don't hold back Swole, let me have it!
So fructose gets stored as liver glycogen right? Which if blood glucose drops low enough is released from the liver to restore healthy BG levels, right? So would eating an apple, along with all the other relevent meals after administering a slin shot, boost liver glycogen so that if BG started to drop the liver could release the glycogen and help prevent going hypo?
Like I said, just a theory, but seriously if I'm wrong don't just slam me, please explain which part I've not understood properly.
Thanks guys,
NotSmall.
