I too would say WW pasta although very often I have read that the ingredient themselves play such a vital role. For example if the ingredient on standard white pasta says nothing but Durum Wheat or Durum Wheat Semolina that that is usually considered fine. I have seen a lot of debates/discrepencies though so anyone with more details please chime in

What meal, when, why, with what, how much, etc.
All of those factors will equate to whether or not it's a good idea or not.

It's okay if you're bulking... Whole wheat pasta does have a lot of fiber. If you're cutting, I would stay away from pasta except maybe PPWO...

Stay away from the sugary tomato and alfredo sauces though!

Oops, sorry - on the WW pasta you get here it does not say "Durum Wheat and fiber" it says "Durum Wheat and bran" so I think they simply add bran to the normal pasta mix before drying.

If you mixed some egg whites with a couple of scoops of unflavored whey, roll it out, cut it into thin strips, and boiled it, would it taste like pasta? Drizzle a tablespoon of flax seed oil, add pepper and garlic for a sauce. I’m not sure if boiling whey kills some of the protein content…If it kills half, just use twice as much powder…
Basically it’s whey pasta…I might try that this weekend.
